Sweet Little Mason ~ Jacksonville Newborn Photographer

I recently got the opportunity to photograph a brand newbie...  Well he is more than just a gorgeous new baby to me because he is actually my Godson and the newest little love of my life.  I had so much fun capturing his little "crinkles" and baby details.  To make the day even more special was the opportunity to photograph Mason on his Mommy's shoulder right above a really important tattoo on her back.  Those two little tiny feet are the actual footprints of Mason's older brother Tyler who was born into Heaven May 17th, 2007.  Though it is an image that will always be bittersweet to those who love and miss Tyler, I know those photographs will always be a treasured memory of Mommy's two precious boys.  I look forward to many more shoots with this little cutie and his sister Maddy, who has graced my website and blog a lot over the last 3 years  : )      ~Kelli

 

Why I want to win the Holli True Workshop seat!

To step outside of my comfort zone... To believe in myself... To follow my dream!

It was only last week that I begged my husband to go to the Holli True workshop… Knowing full well Oregon is just a little to far from Florida, and I just had to replace my broken a/c… So I let the dream slide, well I sulked a little… shhhh…

I’m trying to think of what this workshop would mean to me… but the list would be so much shorter if I listed the reason not to attend… hmmm cant think of one!!! I would love the opportunity to learn from someone that I admire, and strive to create images like. I feel that my photography is on the cusp of being great, but I need that extra little kick to make it fab. I have quickly realized over the last year that I LOVE high school senior photography! I love teenagers, their outlook on life, their sense of style, their energy, and lets face it… they take direction much easier than a two year old! I feel like I could grow so much with Holli’s help. I need a little point in the right direction when it comes to editing, consultations, natural expressions, making the best out of lighting, and of course Holli’s fabulous posing techniques!!!

If I won this opportunity I would be beyond thrilled! It would not only be such a gift to me, but to my clients as well! I want to be great for myself but more importantly the people who entrust me with capturing this amazing time in their children’s life… SENIOR YEAR!!

It has been a really long time since I have posted... I have tons of excuses, but I will not bore you. Here is some of what I have been up to!


So what is new for 2011? I am really looking forward to spring sessions! Spring is a great time to enjoy the great outdoors and capture great portraits before it gets to hot. Spring also brings Easter Portraits and the famous Flower Field mini sessions!! Don't forget it is not to early to start thinking about Mother's Day, Father's Day and Birthdays! I am now offering portrait gift certificates, which are a great gift for the person who has everything.

I am also really excited to kick off my 2011-2012 Senior Sessions!
